Biography-
Draupadi Murmu was born on June 20, 1958, in Mayurbhanj, Odisha, to a tribal family. Her father’s name is Biranchi Narayan Tudu. She finished her studies at Ramadevi Mahila College in Bhubaneswar. From 1979 to 1983, he worked as a Junior Assistant in the Government of Odisha’s Irrigation and Power Department. Mrs. Draupadi Murmu taught at the Sri Aurobindo Integral Education Center in Rairangpur from 1994 to 1997.

Political life-
1. As Minister of State (Independent Charge) in the Government of Odisha from 2000 to 2004, he was in charge of the Departments of Transport and Commerce.
2. As Minister of State in the Government of Odisha from 2002 to 2004, he was in charge of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries.
3. She served as the National Executive of the BJP’s ST Morcha from 2002 to 2009.
4. She served as the state president of the BJP’s ST Morcha from 2006 to 2009.
5. She served as the National Executive of the ST Morcha, BJP, from 2013 to April 2015.
6. From 2015 to 2021 she served as the Governor of Jharkhand.
