According to rumors, Punit Chandhok, the former president of AWS South Asia and India, may work for Microsoft India. Chandhok left his position at AWS last month.
Microsoft presently leads the business cloud market, but it is up against fierce competition in India from well-known companies like Google Cloud and AWS. To satisfy the rising demand for cloud infrastructure, AWS only last month declared its aim to invest $12.7 billion in India by 2030. Cloud use has significantly increased in recent years across a range of sectors and business sizes in the nation.
