Definitions-
- A computer-controlled machine that can detect its environment and make decisions based on obstacles and constraints in the real world is a robot. Robotics is the field of study of robots. The idea, design, production, and use of robots are studied and investigated in this area of engineering. Additionally covered are computer science, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, and electronics.
- Another definition of robotic A robot is a machine that follows instructions or programming from a computer. Many challenging activities may be readily completed by it on its own. Robots are made using mechanical, software, and electrical engineering. Almost everyone’s contribution to this is the same.

The invention of the robot-
The American company “Sperry Gyro Scope” built George, the first robot ever, in the year 1923 AD. The advanced robot Electro was included in an exhibit at the New York World’s Fair in 1939. He could even walk with the aid of robotic motors.
Tasks that have been successfully performed by invented robots include household chores, safety duties, teaching games and playing with others, loading and unloading trucks, serving customers, working on remote space missions, manufacturing mechanical products, and assembling and removing parts in high-temperature factories. Work at or around high-temperature, radioactive-pollution factories, nuclear plant cleaning, lava fields and disaster management, coal and gold mining, robotic surgery, and toxic chemical production. the toxic gas, night and day operations at high altitudes, and deep space activities, as well as painting and spot welding of automobiles, trucks, and other vehicles, carry out technical tasks such as organ transplantation, surgery, ultrasound, X-rays, and ECG.

Difference between robot and robotic–
1. A robot is a type of machine.
2. The scientific field that analyzes and investigates this automated intelligent machine is known as robotics. It is a sub-branch of artificial intelligence.
Methods for making robots-
There are several sorts of robots accessible today. They are used in diverse situations to do different jobs. Contrarily, the construction of a medical robot and a military robot consists of just three fundamental parts.
- Mechanical Construction
- Electronic Construction
- Robotic Programming
1. Mechanical Construction-
To accomplish certain duties or objectives, all robots are constructed in a specific shape. Different production procedures are used for different types of robots. For instance, the robot’s production is carried out in the same manner as its usage in the military. Its creation might resemble a human person or any piece of signal-transmitting machinery.
2. Electronic Construction-
Power, electronics, and other machinery are necessary for a robotic machine to function and be controlled. Consequently, every robot has an electronic system. Robots that are powered by gasoline or another fuel can also be started using electronics.
3. Programming-
A robot must be told about the task before it can perform it. He won’t be able to finish the job till then. Robots need “computer programming” to provide them with the necessary instructions to do a task. The robot doesn’t possess the intelligence to decide when, what, and how to do a task until this programming is complete.
Ways to program robots are-
- Hybrid programming and Remote Control –
RC language and AI (artificial intelligence) are combined in hybrid programming. This method involves programming certain commands into the system. which the robot only carries out in response to controller commands. People use a remote control for execution. They are commonly referred to as remote control programs for this reason.
- Artificial Intelligence –
AI-programmed robots interact with their environment, resolve problems, and overcome obstacles on their own. Their leader is not a person. The robot decides how, when, and what to perform to complete the task. Artificially intelligent robots are employed for this task.

Applications of Robotics programming-
The employment of customized robots is required for a certain type of task. Flying robots are referred to as drones or flying robots. They are unable to walk on earth; they can only fly. This robot shouldn’t do any other tasks. Based on this data, we can identify the operating space of the robot. and recognize how they are applied in daily life. They are currently used for more hazardous and robotic tasks.
1. Industrial Robots-
For many years, manufacturing has employed robots. Robots currently support more than half of the automotive sector. IBM’s keyboard production line has been automated since 2003. Because they are less costly, unreliable, and risk-free than people, they are better for industries. They are thus most frequently used in the manufacturing sector.
2. Medical Robots-
Robots are used in the medical sector to carry out complex and sometimes lethal tasks like surgery. In Japan, a robotic delivery system called HOSPI (created by Panasonic) is used. The Da Vinci Surgical System is used for surgery in America. Additionally, nanorobots that can enter the human body and assault inside cells and dangerous microbes are being created.
3. Military’s Robots-
They are used for assaults as well as military duties including transportation, research, and rescue. These days, there is even discussion about robotic warriors. In the not-too-distant future, the only soldiers on the borders will be these robotic ones armed with guns. They are also utilized in India. The DRDO created the military robot known as Daksh. This is how the bomb will go off, according to this.
4. Construction Robots-
They are also widely employed in manufacturing operations. The 3-D printer is the most real-world illustration of this. Demolish Robots is renowned for its concrete work in addition to the fact that the Netherlands created history by constructing the first 3-D printer bridge in the world. To move the weight, automatic machinery is employed.
5. Agriculture’s Robots-
Their use in agriculture is still a fairly recent development. Currently, they are used for labor-intensive operations like sowing. But in the future womb, duties like planting, plowing, harvesting, crop information based on weather forecasts, pesticide spraying via drones, and more, are growing.
6. Sports Robots-
Nowadays, robots are used in many games to mark participants. Robotic players are regularly used to toss the ball to the players in cricket. Similar to this, numerous kinds of works are rising in popularity.
7. Other Robots-
In addition to other robots, nanorobots, domestic robots, and other robot kinds are currently in use. It won’t be long until a robot raises your bed. In many hotels nowadays, meal service is handled by robots.
